Snow storm!

The kids woke this morning to the site of snow, a first for them here in VA. Annabelle was very excited that the snow came to us (instead of having to drive to it) and said it was, "Aaammmaaazing!" It's not ideal play conditions, it's been pretty windy and the snow is pretty wet. But we bundled up and headed out anyway. They had a good time, Annabelle's good time was on and off, and we spent about an hour outside, maybe not quite that long. Here are some pictures from our quick outdoor adventure. I think that's enough exposure for me and perhaps Annabelle. I suspect MJ may want to go out again tomorrow. We'll see. For now they are vegging on the couch watching Pixar Short films and keeping warm.

Oh and MJ lost his top front tooth! It is the same one he smacked in RI around Christmas time and the dentist said it had about 3 months max to stay in his mouth. He kept it for 2 years! He looks super cute with it gone, but even better he sounds adorable with his lisp compounded by the missing tooth!

Annabelle was Army crawling in the yard. Not sure why, but she enjoyed it!
This was my favorite set of pics of the day. Leave it to the boy to do something this cute and funny!

3D Ultrasound

Here are pics from the ultrasound we had today. The tech said she looks perfect and suspects a dimple in her chin like her brother. She has full lips, a few spikes of hair coming off the back of her head that reminded me of Annabelle's mullet. She's all snuggled up to anything she can get her sweet little face on. Seems she grabs her cord and holds it right up to her face. The tech said it is soft like satin and pulses so it's very comforting to babies. She also has her feet right at her face and appears to rest her head on them and her arms and perhaps puts a big toe in her mouth from time to time.

Beautiful Baby Barky

I had an ultrasound today to check on Barky and see how she's growing. I'm happy to report that everything looks perfect. She's measuring 3 pounds, 10 ounces which is 30 weeks 6 days and I am 30 weeks 5 days. So that is great news! I'll post some pictures from the scan. We should have some better ones when we go for our follow up 3D/4D ultrasound.

I have one of the shots labeled so you can tell how she's positioned. She's head down, folded in half, feet above her head, hands holding on to the back of her calves keeping her in that position. She's going to make one heck of a gymnast or diver! No extra anatomy has appeared so she's still a she!
